Line of Hope
We believe in helping those less fortunate, and we’re not alone. Line of Hope is a group of volunteers who distributes clothing and food to Red Deer’s homeless population. This community-based movement also provides weekly meals to those in need. Avalon is proud to support Line of Hope and the many selfless services they provide.
Ronald McDonald House
When sick children receive essential hospital treatment, Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable place where they can be together in a home away from home. Avalon team members volunteered to spend time at Red Deer’s RMH serving dinners to families who have been affected by so many health challenges.
Festival Of Trees
Every Christmas season, the Red Deer Festival Of Trees helps raise much-needed funds to provide exceptional health care to the region. Avalon has been a proud supporter and in 2013 sold its ‘Trade-itional’ iHoliday Home to raise about $130,000 to help the Festival Of Trees Foundation continue its remarkable work in the area.
Local Artists
Avalon show homes have proved to be a perfect place to showcase the amazing and diverse artwork produced by local artisans. In 2015 an Avalon Custom Home show home provided the backdrop for a variety of local artwork to display their creations and increase awareness for their incredible talents.
