To stop his cat from jumping off the balcony, he invents an ingenious system (video)

This owner has shown some ingenuity to ensure that his cat does not jump off the balcony when he sees birds. Pawl is a very beautiful cat who has a passion in life: watching birds from his balcony.

And while this activity gives him a lot of pleasure, it also involves a certain amount of danger because the cat’s balcony is not secure. Even though it is not very high from the first floor, there is a risk of serious injury if he falls, but also of him running away.

To guard against this type of problem, Pawl’s owner has invented a rather surprising concept, but one that obviously works perfectly!

A ball vest

To stop his cat from feeling on top of the world and also from trying to climb through the bars, Pawl’s owner came up with a system that would be comfortable while making the tomcat understand that he wasn’t entirely free to move around.

On a cat harness, he attached large plastic balls that are generally used to play Wiffle Ball, a softer version of baseball. Rather light but imposing, these balls are enough to make the tomcat understand that he is not in full possession of his ability to glide, but he is still comfortable enough to calmly contemplate the birds.

The birds kept chirping at him from about 10 feet way. #cats #petsoftiktok #funny #catvest

Even if this system has won over more than a million spectators and attracted many amused comments on its presentation video, there is no doubt that nothing beats a truly secure outdoor space.
